Sovereign hill

Last week the 5/6’s had an amazing day at Sovereign Hill. The weather was beautiful and many of the students found gold on the day. We watched gold being melted, delved into the mines, received a lesson in etiquette and dressed in the fashion of the times. It was a great sizzling start for our inquiry unit around Australian history and migration.

Swimming Carnival

Congratulations to all of our superstar swimmers in Grade 5/6. It was great to see so many students give the races a go and step outside their comfort zone.

A big thanks to our brand new house captains who helped to keep their houses cheering and encouraging one another, as well as helping the teachers throughout the day.

Also, thank you to the wonderful parents who helped out on the buses and at WaterMarc.

We have had a GREAT 2019 swimming carnival!
